I can't believe I used to wonder why a mother didn't try harder to breastfeed (when I was successfully breastfeeding my first, typical baby). Now I am elated when my baby with PWS takes the tiniest bit in a bottle with it running all over her face :). I wonder to myself, why do I have to go through a hardship in order to be a better person?! I love your bubble, too! We live in a small town where no one knows of PWS or the road we may face ahead. I don't even know what to expect. Its scary but my bubble of family and friends are fighting along side me as well. Thank you for writing this it helps to know I'm not alone.Ashleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1477494608287747112.post-51090647562445840002011-05-06T01:15:13.723-04:002011-05-06T01:15:13.723-04:00Very well said. I've had many days when I couldn't cope with the world outside my bubble, with people saying insensitive things or even if it was just me making comparisons with other people's kids, other people's lives. But you are right, we don't know what others are coping with so if we can all bring a bit more compassion to our interactions our bubble will definitely grow! Thanks for this post!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11399324383367077919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1477494608287747112.post-28534356770481631332011-05-05T22:30:45.934-04:002011-05-05T22:30:45.934-04:00Well said Rachel. Some people don't have a clue and respond with ugliness; but once in a while someone who has no idea what you are going through will do something nice and it restores your faith in the world.Janishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01771552840448059908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1477494608287747112.post-89743504567400384572011-05-05T22:12:36.208-04:002011-05-05T22:12:36.208-04:00Perfect, Rachel. I felt myself starting to fall apart, being tired of the stares and the kids pushing Dean over because he takes more time to climb the stairs than the others do. So, I needed this today.
